My Dad RULES!

So I broke the D string on my bass the other day. Not only did it REALLY F'N HURT, but it means I can't quite play my bass very well. The strings that are on it CAME on it when I bought it about two years ago, so they've had a good run. It's about time to get some new'uns.

Problem with that is a new set of double bass strings cost about $100 to start. I don't necessarily have that much bread to blow. But, my father graciously offered last night to give me the money for them for my birthday. Isn't he just the SHIT?
